Willem Vermeer

Willem Roelof Vermeer ( 1947 -)[1] is een Nederlandse taalkundige, filoloog, dialectoloog, Slavisch geleerde en onderzoeker van Proto-Slavische accentologie, morfologie, Russisch, Resiaans dialect van de Sloveense taal en Chakavisch dialect van de Kroatische taal.[2]
Biografie[bewerken]
Hij was docent aan het Centrum voor Taalwetenschap van de Universiteit Leiden, vakgebied historische taalkunde Slavische talen.[3] Hij promoveerde in 1982 te Leiden op Studies in South Slavonic dialectology. Momenteel[wanneer?] is hij met pensioen.
